We are looking for a Lead Hand to join our team in Winnipeg !

RESPONSABILITIES
You’ll be responsible for :
- Technical training- identify need per technician and work with Service supervisor to have training deployed
- Safety program-identify needs for safety training and expand on current program
- Foster a team environment with all individuals and inter-departmentally
- Technical issues- deployed to sites where we require a higher level of knowledge, follow up at sites regarding gaps when repairing, servicing equipment. Support when required for technical issues
- Rework assessment- track and train on rework-insure we are getting value out of rework, learned lessons shared with the individual tech as well as the team
- Service meeting- lead on meeting agenda sharing best practices, lessons learned, review any rework issues
- Major accounts maintenance- working with aftermarket manager to insure we are meeting expectations on major accounts
- Support service supervisor role via technical queries, warranty claims, etc
- Technician management- manage the team, disciplinary action, reward program
- Grow the branch and its revenue stream ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained and business is consistently developing to meet the needs of the market
- Promote Comairco sales service and parts, specifically promoting the team of technicians and their abilities
- Ensuring tools, clothing, company vehicles provided are properly maintained and used in an appropriate, and respectable manner by employees.
- Respond to customer service calls, requiring a greater level of expertise.
- Other duties as assigned.
YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF
- You have experience in a management role;
- You have experience with compressed air and its ancillary equipment or similar mechanical background in light/heavy industrial equipment (an asset);
- You have high skills and passion to train, coach and develop the technicians to ensure the best quality of service to the customer;
- You are a leader recognized for their autonomy, creativity, teamwork and professional integrity;
- You have strong interpersonal, problem solving and outstanding customer service skills.
