
Comairco Parts Return Policy
1- Eligibility for Returns
Parts must be returned within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date.
Only unused, undamaged parts in their original packaging are eligible for return.
Custom or special-order parts are non-returnable unless found to be defective, subject to inspection.
Defective items may be returned for exchange of the exact same product only, provided the return request is made within 30 days of the purchase date.
Returns are not accepted for large items shipped via LTL freight, including but not limited to complete air compressors, large air compressor pumps, and frame-mounted electric motors.
Refunds are issued to the same payment method used at the time of purchase (credit card, debit card, or PayPal).
If you receive an order that is damaged or contains an incorrect part, you must notify Comairco within 7 calendar days of delivery. Exchanges are subject to Bill of Lading (BOL) notation and inspection.
Comairco reserves the right to refuse any return at its sole discretion.
2-Return Authorization (RMA)
All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number prior to shipment.
To obtain an RMA, please contact the Comairco Parts Department at the branch where the part was purchased.
Returns received without an RMA or without original packaging will not be accepted.
Once an RMA is approved and the product is received, returns are typically processed within 3–5 business days. In some cases, processing may take up to 14 business days if additional inspection or OEM evaluation is required.
3-Restocking Fee
A 15% restocking fee applies to all approved returns.
Return freight costs are the responsibility of the purchaser unless it is determined that Comairco shipped the incorrect part.
Restocking fees may be waived at Comairco’s discretion when the return is due to a Comairco error.
4-Shipping and Handling
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the part is defective or shipped in error.
Comairco is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments caused by the carrier.
If an item is returned and found not to be defective, Comairco reserves the right to deduct outbound and return shipping costs in addition to the 15% restocking fee.
5- Missing Packages or Shipments
If carrier tracking or proof of delivery (POD) indicates that a package was delivered but cannot be located, customers must complete the steps below within 36 hours of the stated delivery time.
Once a shipment is marked as delivered, this constitutes proof of delivery. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the delivery location is secure or that someone is available to receive the package.
Comairco cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. Signature confirmation is required for orders over $500.00. Customers who require signature confirmation on orders under $500.00 must request this prior to purchase.
Please take the following steps:
- Verify the shipping address on your order
- Check for any carrier delivery notices
- Inspect the delivery area and surrounding locations
- Confirm with household members or neighbors
- Check mailboxes or alternate delivery locations
6- Inspection and Refunds
All returned items are inspected upon receipt.
Approved refunds are processed within 10–14 business days.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. For non-credit card payments, processing may take up to 45 days.
Customers will receive email confirmation once the return has been processed.
7- Defective or Incorrect Parts
Defective or incorrect parts must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
For incorrect parts shipped by Comairco, return shipping will be covered, and a replacement or full refund will be provided.
Defective products are eligible for exchange only for the same item within the return period. If the product has been discontinued, a non-refundable parts credit of comparable value will be issued.
No refunds or exchanges will be accepted after 30 days.
Manufacturer warranties vary by brand and product. Customers are encouraged to contact Comairco prior to purchase for specific warranty details.
Incomplete kits or missing components, including accessories, are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
8- Exceptions and Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange, unless defective or shipped in error:
- Electrical components
- Lubricants and consumables
- Filters, oils, compressed air tanks, and service parts
- Rubber-based components
- Special-order items
- Used or installed items
- Incomplete kits or packages
- Any opened or used products
For items that have not yet shipped, refunds are not offered. In certain cases, Comairco may issue a customer account credit at its discretion.
