We are looking for a Shipper/ Receiver to join our team for our Albany Branch !

YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF

• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• You have the ability to work with B2B clientele;
• You have good mechanical understanding;
• You have basic computer skills;
• You are autonomous;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Thorough and good work ethic;
• Have followed forklift training and have a valid card (an asset).

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Customer Service

• Assist customers with orders that are being picked up in the branch
• Build relationship with Shipping Companies via phone and onsite servicing Comairco

2. Shipment of Products

• Verify proper equipment and products are pulled for shipping
• Properly pack products or equipment for shipment
• Quote Freight charges to internal and external personal as needed
• Choose proper shipping company for products and equipment
• Complete proper Shipment Paperwork (BOL)
• Create Log of Shipments
• Schedule shipments per urgency – if not urgent all within 24rs
• Notify customer of Tracking information and status of shipment
• Notify proper internal personal of shipments
• Send Photo’s and/or short video clip of equipment and associated items to customer and internal team
• Submit proper shipment information to internal personal
• Attach proper shipment documentation into internal data base (Ax)

3. Receiving of Products

• Receive incoming Equipment and products
• Inspect parts at receiving and validate their conformity and damage
• Inspect incoming equipment for damage
• Maintain Log of incoming equipment and parts
• Maintain Photo File of Equipment and associated items being returned to the facility
• Notify proper internal personal of equipment and associate items that have been received into the facility
• Update Ax with Quote Status
• Conduct ETA follow-up with suppliers as needed

3. Inventory Management

• Stage products for shipments
• Manage cleanliness of warehouse and shop
• Pull Service Job Parts and place in Service Staging
• Prepare customer sales orders and coordinate shipping
• Prepare supplier returns as required
• Keep the receiving and shipping area clean and organized
• Receive supplier orders in the system
• Properly put parts in correct Inventory Location
• Do cycle counting of parts per established schedule
• Responsible for Overall Inventory of Branch within company guideline
• Maintain New, Used and Rental Equipment inventory in proper warehouse location

4. Billing and credit

• Invoice Orders shipped daily
• Credit customers as needed
• Manage Freight Cost on Orders Shipped
• Responsible for the end of the month: closing all documents and corrections in billing, if necessary.
