We are looking for an Aftermarket Inside Parts Sales Representative to join our team for our Albany Branch!

YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF
- You have relevant experience in Parts/Inside Sales. (preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge, technical knowledge (preferred)
- You have strong relationship skills.
- You are result-oriented.
- You are self-motivated.
- You have effective negotiating skills.
- You have strong communication skills.
- You have strong computer skills.
- You are bilingual (English/Spanish) (an asset).
- Must have strong organizational skills (critical)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recommend replacement parts and/ or modifications to solve the customers current problem. You must always remember that we are solution providers and that is how our customers must view us.
- Aid in the creation or a parts library for replacement parts including OEM & alternative non-OEM solutions.
- Prepare Customer requested Parts Quotes as well as suggestive upselling.
- Convert Quotes to Sales Orders at time of Purchase Order
- Invoice Sales Orders
- Add notes and follow dates in system for all quotes.
- Perform Quote follow ups regularly.
- Monitor and manage released product pricing to ensure proper pricing as well as protect margins.
- Aid the purchasing department to qualify vendors.
- Contact drifted accounts and determine how we can regain lost business.
- Create a used inventory list and work with warehouse manager to effectively inventory and store components.
- Learn our product line as well as manufacturer required maintenance/ intervals.
- Collaborate with team and contribute ideas for a successful and ongoing marketing campaign to increase sales.
- Help customers solve after-sales service & parts issues as well as provide ongoing support.
- Participate in providing information and technical solutions from the field, service teams and managers.
- Communicate equipment sales opportunities to representatives.
- Provide technical parts support for service department and customers.
- Work with Shipper/ Receiver to assure proper part shipment to correct account address.
- Maintain a positive/ team player attitude that will breed team success and company growth.
